At Feel Clear we are committed to keeping your personal information private and will always ensure we are transparent with what your data is used for.

We have full insurance in place for any possible cyber attacks and take the necessary steps in protecting your data. Any possible breached data that brings risk to our clients in any way will be notified to the police within 72 hours, in line with GDPR requirements.

We currently collect and process the following information:

data such as name, address, age, gender and contact details telephone and or email address.

We additional collect appointment information, prescriptions, medical information, purchase information, audiological data and personal preferences as sensitive data.

How we get personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you and we use the information that you have given, in order to tailor to you personally, provide ongoing service and products where applicable.

We collect the information directly, face to face, by telephone, email or website enquiry.

It is a legal and lawful obligation to keep your data private and specific to you.

When you book an appointment or choose to be part of our contact list we will collect your personal data and will ask for consent regarding any marketing related information which may apply to you.   • We have a contractual and legal obligation. We require your information when fulfilling a contract with you and it is a legal obligation to obtain your data in particular with use to after-care sales and support services we offer.

  • We have a legitimate interest for our existing clients in providing information relating to the services and products you may require. This would include making you aware of relevant products, offers and promotions via email, letter or phone as agreed by you.

How we store your personal information

As Feel Clear, we pride ourselves on keeping your information securely stored.

We keep your general record which contains, name, date of birth, gender, contact details for up to 15 years if not updated. If your record is inactive for this period of time, we will then dispose of your information by permanent deletion of your record electronically and ensure we correctly shred any filed paperwork. If you agreed to marketing and contact consent, we will notify you of this change within 28 days prior to deletion.

When undertaking hearing tests and obtaining details regarding your ears and hearing needs, we keep record of this sensitive data on our testing and diary management software.
